Configuring NVMe

1. Connect cable(s) as needed from the motherboard to the backplane as shown in the

diagram above. One OCuLink cable is required for each pair of NVMe drives.

2. BIOS setup:

a. Setup IIO bifurcation: Set IIO2 to “x8x4x4” or “x4x4x4x4” (depending on the number

of NVMe drives—see the previous page).
