6-6 Installing a DVD or CD-ROM Drive

Replacing the DVD or CD-ROM

1. Power down the system and disconnect the power cord from the from the

rear of the power supply. Place the chassis on a stable hard surface and

remove the chassis cover as described in Section 6-3.

2. Place the DVD-ROM or CD-ROM drive in the chassis above the hard drive.

3. Secure the drive with two screws. One screw is external and the other is

internal.
