Installing Expansion Cards
1. Remove the chassis cover and disconnect the chassis from any power
source.
2. Locate the motherboard port which is aligned with the card slot you want to
install.
3. Each PCI slot cover is secured by one screw located on the top of the cover.
Remove this screw and slide the slot cover up and out of the slot. Set the
screw aside for use in Step 5.
4. Gently slide the expansion card into the correct motherboard slot. f necessary,
slide the card into the PCI card guide and lock it. Never force a component
into a motherboard or the chassis.
5. Secure the expansion card with the screw set aside in Step 3.
Expansion Card Setup
The SC842 chassis features seven PCI slots which support up to seven expansion
cards.
