Motherboard Connections
This chapter describes the connections on the motherboard and provides pinout definitions.
Note that depending on how the system is configured, not all connections are required. The
LEDs on the motherboard are also described here. A motherboard layout indicating component
locations may be found in

3.1 Headers and Connectors
Main Power Connector
The proprietary main power headers are PWR1 and PWR2.
Mezzanine Card Connector
A Mezzanine card connector, located at JMEZZ1, supports a PCIe Gen 4 Mezzanine cards.
Install a PCIe 4.0 x16 riser card on JMEZZ1.
TPM Header
The JTPM1 header is used to connect a Trusted Platform Module (TPM)/Port 80, which
is available from Supermicro. A TPM/Port 80 connector is a security device that supports
encryption and authentication in hard drives. It allows the motherboard to deny access if the
TPM associated with the storage drive is not installed in the system.
