Installing the Heatsink

We recommend the use of passive type heatsinks with the 4020A-8R server

system). If you wish to install active heatsinks (those that include a fan), use the

Fan7 header for the CPU1 fan and the Fan8 header for the CPU2 fan due to fan

monitoring and wiring considerations. You will also need to remove the air shroud

when using active heatsinks.

You may be using the manufacturer's optional heatsinks (part number SNK-P0013)

or those from a third party. To install the heatsinks, please follow the installation

instructions included with your heatsink package.
