• Place the front safety guard onto the rear safety guard. To do so, firstly place the front guard into
the mounting hook of the rear safety guard. Now secure the four connecting clamps of the rear
safety guard to ensure both safety guards are securely fixed together.
INSERTING BATTERIES INTO THE REMOTE CONTROL
• Slide off the battery compartment lid of the remote control in the direction of the arrow downwards
and remove the lid.
• Insert 2 type AAA (R 03) batteries, taking care to respect the correct polarity of the batteries.
• Subsequently, reposition the battery compartment lid back in place and slide it upwards until it
audibly clicks into place.
• When the batteries become too weak, the remote control will no longer work properly. Ensure the
batteries are promptly replaced.
ADVICE ON BATTERIES
• Always use only the recommended batteries or an equivalent type!
• Never use different types of batteries together nor used and new batteries!
• When inserting batteries, be careful to respect the correct polarity!
• When the product is unused for an extended period, please remove batteries!
• Remove flat batteries from the product!
• Do not attempt to charge non-rechargeable batteries!
• Only charge rechargeable batteries with adult supervision!
• Do not short circuit the connectors!
• Never dispose of batteries in fire!
OPERATING THE DEVICE
The pedestal fan can be operated via the control panel on the device or using the remote control.
Please note that the interval function can only be activated using the remote control.
1. Plug the device into a mains socket.
2. By loosening the screw clamp on the stand, the inner tube can be adjusted to the desired height.
Subsequently, ensure the screw clamp is resecured in place.
3. By tilting the motor, the tilt angle of the rotor blade blades can be adjusted.
4. The device offers the following functions:
• Slow speed LOW
• Medium speed MED
• Fast speed HI
• Horizontal motor swing
• Timer for operation from 1 to up to 4 hours
