ALARM RECORDING SETUP
You can use Pins 2 through 9 and Pins 15 through 22 as alarm inputs.
1. When ALARM settings are set to HIGH: you can use these inputs to connect to any device
that will output a 5VDC TTL signal. When alarm input signal is HIGH , the unit starts to record
and sound buzzer if active.
2. When ALARM setting are set to LOW: you can use these inputs to connect to any device
that will output a 0VDC or zero volts. When alarm input signal is LOW , the unit starts to
record and sound buzzer if active.
NOTE: DO NOT USE 12VDC OR ANY SOURCE OTHER THAN THE 5VDC TTL REQUIRED.
USING ANYTHING OVER THE (5VDC TTL) WILL “DAMAGE” DMR. CHECK ALL VOLTAGES
BEFORE CONNECTING TO ALARM INPUTS. IF YOU’RE NOT SURE ABOUT THE VOLTAGE
REQUIRED, DO NOT ATTEMP TO CONNECT.
ALARM RECORDING MENU SETTINGS
Go to
ALARM setting and set to:
3. LOW:
When alarm input signal is zero volts, the unit starts to record and will sound buzzer if
active.
4. HIGH: When alarm input signal is 5V TTL, the unit starts to record and will sound buzzer if
active.
Press
MENU Key to enter MENU setup and select CAMERA.

When using 5V TTL inputs, set ALARM to HIGH . Go to main MENU , go down to CAMERA and
hit >ENTER .
