Step 3: Place the HDD on the HDD plate and connect the power, SATA cable and the

NOTE: Connect one end of the ribbon cable to the connector on the main board (A) and 

the other to a keyboard socket (B). Both ends of the cable should always be 
connected. 

The Red stripe on the cable MUST be aligned with Pin 1 on both

 

side of the cable 

(cable as shown above).
