5. Ensure that the pump is supplied via a residual current device (FI or ECD) with a measured
residual current of not more than 30 mA.
6. Electrical installations on garden ponds must correspond to the national and international in-
stallation directives.
7. Only operate the pump if no one is in the water.
8. Do not carry or pull the pump by the connecting cord.
9. Keep the power plug and all connecting parts dry.
10. The pump may not be operated if the cable or the housing are defective.
11. If the power cord of the pump is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or by a
similarly qualified person to avoid hazard.
12. Never displace any liquids other than water.
13. Caution: The pump will stop automatic if working without water or overloading; it will work
again after having been re-plugged in.
Installation
1. Compare the voltage and frequency of your electrical circuit with the data on the item. The
data must meet each other.
2. Make the necessary hose connections (if required) or install a fountain attachment. After the
installation, ensure that there are no air bubbles in the hose system (lay hose lines on an in-
cline).
3. Install the pump horizontally on a fixed support at least 20 cm under the water surface. Com-
ply with maximum permitted immersion depth (see the information on the model plate).
4. Lay the power cord in a protected manner to exclude the possibility of damage.
5. Connect the pump to the electrical circuit.
CAUTION:
This pump does not have filter basket, so the particulate size in the water must be less than 5mm.
Otherwise the impeller may blocked.
