36) Cleaning Sewing Machine  

Clean around the feed dog, upper looper, and lower looper
periodically. 
Particularly, clean the needle plate and the slot of the feed dog.
The accumulation of foreign substances on the feed dog slot is
responsible for the breakage of the needle plate.
