(v) Release the dedock cable and
connect the power lead plug into
the motor socket on the drive
assembly, behind the seat stem
(Fig. 3). Make sure this is
securely located.
Assembling the batteries
Locate and connect the batteries as
follows:-
(i) Place the batteries into their
respective recesses in the
baseboard (Fig. 4). Ensure that
the battery connector socket, on
the top of each battery, is facing
inwards.
(ii) Connect the battery plugs
(Fig. 4) by locating one end of
the connector and pushing
down with the palm of your
hand. The connector is spring
loaded so it should locate easily.
Remember to connect both
batteries.
