ACCESSING & REPLACING THE BATTERY
1. Switch the power OFF.
2. Carefully remove the screws from the battery housing on the back of the solar panel.
3. Gently remove the old battery.
4. Paying attention to the positive and negative terminals, gently insert the new battery.
5. Carefully reassemble the battery housing.
6. The solar panel will require at least 8 hours of full, direct sunlight to fully charge the battery.
REPLACING THE BATTERY
The battery, like all rechargeable batteries, has a limited life span, and become less efficient with repeated
charge/discharge cycles. As the capacity of the battery reduces over time, you will notice reduced operating
time and will need to replace the battery.
IMPORTANT:
Only use compatible rechargeable batteries, alternatives may be incompatible which may
damage the system and will void the warranty.
Dispose of the batteries in accordance with local laws and regulations.

• Designed for outdoor use only.
• Keep the solar panel clean by wiping it down with a damp cloth. Clean solar panels will absorb more sunlight.
• Never use chemicals or abrasive materials to clean the unit.
• Do not allow the unit to freeze; store indoors during freezing weather.
• Remember to turn the unit off before storing. It is also recommended that the battery is removed while the unit is being stored.
• Only use compatible rechargeable batteries. Incompatible batteries may damage the product and will invalidate the warranty.
Any modification or failure to follow the recommended care will void the product warranty.
This product uses a rechargeable battery. When the battery can no longer be used, it should be removed from the unit and recycled.
The battery must not be incinerated or composted. Recycle the battery in accordance with local laws and regulations.
TROUBLESHOOTING
• Ensure the power button is turned to the 'ON' position.
• If the light only works for a short period of time, attempt a 'Boost Charge'.
- Turn the power 'ON' and let it charge in full, direct sunlight for at least 8 hours.
- Turn the power 'OFF' at night to conserve the battery.
- Repeat this process for 2-3 days. If the unit still does not work, the battery may need replacing.
• This product was designed to only work at night, make sure the light sensors are not receiving too much ambient light.
