Please use good judgment, as the elements and seasons vary from region to region.
It is recommended to remove the canopy top when:
 Not in seasonal use
 If temperature will drop below freezing (32°Fahrenheit /0°Celsius)
 If you live in an exceptionally rainy region or experience more than average amounts of precipitation.
 If will be experiencing torrential rain or torrential downpour**
 Winds sustained at 40-50 mph
*If light rain persists or increases over an extended period of time, please remove the canopy top to prevent water
build up between the middle roof support beams.
**Torrential rain or a torrential downpour is any amount of rain that is considered especially heavy. National
Weather Service (NWS) defines heavy rainfall as rain that accumulates at a rate of 3 tenths of an inch (0.3 inches)
