The matters of safety
• This product needs to be passively reset in every 20 mins to prevent decline of reliability on measurement
by charge of measurement instrument. Therefore, it is not suitable for long-term automatic measurement.
• Please reset the product more frequently in environment of a lot of spark for accuracy of measurement.
• Do not open your hand holding the instrument while measuring. Discharge might caused by fingers, or it
might not be accurate.
• It may fail to function properly if someone drops or any misuse of the product.
• Please connect to Ground for precise measurement.
• 9V Battery only. (rectangular shaped battery)
• Do not separate or renovate it personally.

2. Overview and Main Characteristics
SPE-20 is a non-contact static voltage measurement sensor. Therefore you can measure the
static voltage without contact charged object.
You can conveniently measure high accuracy keeping accurate measurement distance by using
enclosed 1 Inch (25.4mm) Spacer.
SPE-20 has high sensitive sensor that enables to measure static voltage of charged object by
1V in range of ±29.999[kV].
It measures static voltage of charged object accurately and speedy (error range ±2%, Sampling
Speed 0.005 sec.)
You can record maximum ± voltage when measuring by Peak Hold function.
When using, you can set up voltage for alarm by user Alarm Setting function. (set up range:
0.010~20[kV])
For your safety, beeping sound starts when more than 20[kV] is measured. by high voltage
automatic Alarm function.
