A Google Account will allow you to access the Google Play Store for APP downloads,
and Google applications.

Once you have setup your Google Account, you can access Google Play to download
and manage apps.

Select "Utilities" from the home screen.
Select "Existing" if you currently
have a gmail email account and
put in your email and password.
Select "New" to setup a gmail
email account.
Select the "User’s APP" menu icon.
