Use as Solar Security Light:
1. Install rechargeable AA batteries in back of unit. We recommend NiMh or NiCad of a minimum
1800mAh.
2. Install in where full sun can reach the solar panel collectors on top of unit. During daylight, the
solar collectors gather energy from the sun and store it in rechargeable AA batteries housed
internally in the unit. At night the Solar DVR’s ultra bright LED’s illuminate automatically. The
Light will turn on until the batteries are drained. The following day, the lights will recharge.
Use as Video Capture DVR:
1. Unit must be plugged with supplied AC adapter
2. Install a SD card in SD card slot. Unit may come with a starter card. This product has the unique
capability of overwriting itself. For longer save time you can easily upgrade the SD card to up to
32GB.
3. Unit operates automatically when power button is pressed on.
Viewing Video:
Option 1: Remove card and view it in a universal SD card reader (not included)
Option 2: Install provided software (see next section) and connect solar dvr with supplied USB cable. It
will show up on computer as an external drive and you will have the ability to view it.
