IMPORTANT

The barbecue operates with liquid gas cylinders (butane/propane) weighing from 3 – 5 - 10 kg.
The rubber gas tube must not exceed 1.5mt in length, must comply with current regulations in the
country where it is installed with a valid expiry date.
The pressure adjuster must be calibrated at the pressure set according to the current regulations in the
country where it is installed, which may be found at your nearest retailer of gas items.
Refer to the table provided on the barbecue itself. It is strictly prohibited to use adjustable pressure
reducers.

INSTALLATION

Make sure that the reducer seal is still present and is not damaged. Change the seal every time you
replace the gas cylinder.
Screw the pressure reducer onto the cylinder, turning it in an anticlockwise direction. Tighten it
hermetically.
The case tube should be connected to the pressure reducer outlet connection as described below:

The other end of the gas tube should be secured

¿

rmly to the barbecue. It should be directly engaged

and secured by means of a speci

¿

c metal clamp, or screw the gas tube connection onto the barbecue

connection. Place the cylinder to the side of the barbecue, not beneath it, making sure that you keep it
away from sources of heat and place it in a safe position.

GAS LEAK TEST

During the gas leak test, remove all in

À

ammable sources from the surrounding area and avoid all ac-

Do not smoke!
Never carry out gas leak tests when the burner is lit!
Always perform the test outdoors.
Check the gas tube, making sure that it is not split, cut or scratched
Check the gas tube expiry date and replace it if necessary.
Do not use the barbecue if the tube is damaged.
Make sure that the gas tube does not develop bends that could obstruct the regular gas

À

 ow during

use of the barbecue.
Make sure that the gas tube is not under pressure at any point and that it does not touch any part of
the hot barbecue.
Close the grill taps.
Open the cylinder valve and make sure that there are no leaks. Pour a solution of 50% water and 50%
liquid soap on all the connections. If you observe bubbles, this means that there is a leak.
The barbecue must not be used until the source of the leak has been repaired!
To stop the leak, you need to tighten all the connection points.
Close the cylinder gas tap as soon as you smell gas!
Perform the gas leak test every time you connect or replace the gas cylinder or tube.
