Caution!
Clean the probe before first use and after every subsequent use with a damp cloth and some washing-
up liquid if necessary. Never submerge the entire thermometer in water. The plastic enclosure contains
batteries and electronic components that are not water-resistant. The device is not dishwasher safe.
Never put the device into an oven or microwave.
Battery installation:
The thermometer is powered by two 1.5V AAA LR03 alkaline batteries.
Follow these steps to install the batteries.
1. Remove the battery cover from the back of the device.
2. Put two AAA batteries into the battery compartment, according to the polarity signs (+ and -) shown.
3. Replace the battery cover on the back of the device.
Instructions:
Power ON/OFF:
Press and hold ON/OFF on the touch display
for about 3 seconds to turn the device on or off.
Note
The device switches off automatically if it is inactive for about 60 minutes.
Setting CELSIUS/FAHRENHEIT
The device is factory set to degrees Celsius.
When switching on, the display shows the temperature in degrees Celsius.
To switch to Fahrenheit, press ON/OFF once
