Replacing the Diskette Drive

Note –

Read the diskette drive product guide for information about jumpers, switch

settings, or other installation tasks.

1. Replace the diskette drive as follows (

and

FIGURE 7-2

a. Position the diskette drive into the diskette drive bracket.

b. Using a No. 2 Phillips screwdriver, replace the four screws securing the diskette

drive to the diskette drive bracket.

c. Position the diskette drive bracket into the chassis, aligning the three holes on

the bracket with the three screws on the chassis.

d. Slide the bracket forward until it stops.
