To write the unwritten data, issue the
command:
ESCON Swap
in VM/MVS
environment

switch again; the

The tape drive attempted to write to a write-
protected cartridge tape.
Change the switch on the data cartridge tape
to enable writing.
Writing
The tape drive is writing data.
