Connecting to the Netra T4 Server
This appendix describes how to connect a terminal and other equipment to the
external ports on your Netra T4 server.
The appendix contains the following sections:

G.1 Connecting to the LOM Serial Port
The LOM serial port is the default console port. To connect a terminal to the LOM
serial (RJ-45) port you require one of the following:

RJ-45 (male) to DB-25 (male) cable, wired as shown in
TABLE G-1
■
CAT5 Ethernet cable RJ-45 (male) to RJ-45 (male), part no. 530-2961, and an
RJ-45 (female) to DB-25 (male) adaptor, part no. 530-2889, wired as shown in
TABLE G-1
