Defrosting 

The freezer’s frost-free feature eliminates the need for manual defrosting. Defrosting takes place approximately 
every 14 hours (except when in the “Fast Freeze” mode); the defrost cycle lasts about 40 minutes. Melt water 
from  the  defrosting  collects  in  a  drip  tray  where  it  is  evaporated.  During  the  process  of  defrosting,  the 

temperature display may be higher than the set temperature.   

 

You can force the unit into defrost mode at any time by pressing and holding the 

 

button for 3 seconds.
