To access the function menu, tap the lower or right hand portion of the monitor screen

(shown as the shaded bar in the illustration in the Features section).
To use plugged in:

Step 1: Place the monitor in the room from which you want to monitor your baby (ie., bedroom or living room).

Plug the monitor AC adapter into the AC adapter jack and other end into standard electrical outlet.

Step 2: Press and hold “POWER ” button for 4-seconds until the Summer logo or video appears on screen.

Step 3: For audio and no video, press the VIDEO ON/OFF button top of the unit.

Step 4: To turn the monitor off completely, press and hold the “POWER ” button for 4 seconds.
To use in portable/battery mode:

Step 1: Before using the monitor in portable mode (battery), charge the battery for 4-5 hours.

Step 2: To charge the battery, plug the monitor adapter into the monitor AC adapter jack. Plug the other end into

a standard electrical outlet.

Step 3: After initial 4-5 hour charge, to achieve optimal battery life, charge the battery overnight and use in

battery-mode during daytime monitoring, for up to 6 hours of continuous use.
When battery is low, the Power-On LED will illuminate amber and the unit will emit a beeping sound indicating
that the battery needs to be charged.
To remove battery door:

Press down on grooves and push in the direction of the arrow located on the battery door.
Pairing Monitor and Camera:

The monitor and camera are paired at the factory for privacy reasons. If the monitor and camera are not pairing
for any reason, follow steps to pair or to add an additional camera:

Step 1: Move the monitor to the same area as the camera and make sure both are plugged in.

Step 2: Press the to enter Camera Menu.

Step 3: Press the arrow to highlight Add Cam . Press ( ) “SELECT” to enter.

Step 4: The next available camera will automatically be selected ( 1, 2, 3, 4).

Step 5: Press ( ) “SELECT” and pairing animation between receiver and camera will begin.

Step 6: Within 20 seconds press the CODE button on back of camera. Once paired, the live video will appear on screen.
If this is unsuccessful, you should repeat steps above making sure the camera and monitor

are close enough to each other for pairing.
View Camera:

Note: this option is only available when more than one camera is in use.
Step 1: Press the to enter the camera menu.

Step 2: Press the arrow to highlight View Cam , press ( ) SELECT to enter the View Cam Menu.

Step 3: Use the and buttons to select the camera you want to view. Press ZOOM/SELECT to select that camera.
Delete Camera:

Step 1: Press the to enter the camera menu.

Step 2: Press the arrow to highlight . Press ( ) SELECT to enter DELETE CAM option.

Step 3: Press the arrow to select the camera you want to delete ( 1, 2, 3, 4). The camera will highlight orange.

Step 4: Press ( ) SELECT to confirm this is the camera to be deleted and camera icon will become grayed out.
Auto Scan:

Step 1: To scan all cameras in use for 8-second intervals, press the button once.

Step 2: Use the and arrows to navigate to the SCAN CAM option and press ( ) SELECT to

enter SCAN CAM option.

Step 3: The monitor will automatically scan through all cameras in use every 8 seconds. To stop AUTO SCAN
