9. Reassemble and reinstall the spring cham-
ber.
10. Turn the adjusting screw clockwise until it is
under pressure from the spring.
11. Readjust the pressure regulator using inlet
modulation procedures.
6.4.11 Drive coupling maintenance
1. Shut down the compressor.
2. Mount the motor end sleeve on the motor
spindle.
3. Mount the air end sleeve on the air end shaft
so that the air end disc end contact the
shoulder of air end shaft.
4. Slide the elastomer into the discs.
• The gap between the end surfaces of the
two discs should be 2 to 3 mm.
5. Tighten the set screw on the discs.
