How to use Lane Centering Function

Press the

(Lane Keep Assist) switch when Adaptive Cruise Control is on.



Page 72

Lane Centering Function is turned on, and

(Lane Keep Assist indicator) (white) is dis-

played on the EyeSight display area of the combination meter display.

Lane Centering Function starts operating when all of the following conditions are met.

•

Lane Centering Function is turned on in the customizing functions.

•

Adaptive Cruise Control is activated.

•

The vehicle speed is between 0 mph (0 km/h) and approximately 90 mph (145 km/h)*.
*: For Mexico models, 0 km/h and approximately 160 km/h.

•

The system is detecting the lane markings or the lead vehicle.

•

The driver is operating the steering wheel.

•

On a straight road or gentle curve

•

On a road that has a lane width that is between approximately 10 ft (3 m) and 15 ft (4.5 m)

•

Driving near the center of a lane
