Power/volume control
Press the dial for ON or OFF.
Turn the dial to control volume.

Tone and balance control
Each brief press of the TUNE/TRACK/CH dial
changes the control modes. Choose the desired
level for each mode by turning the dial.

Press FM or AM button to select
desired wave bands.

Manual tuning
Turn TUNE/TRACK/CH dial clockwise to increase the tuning
frequency and turn the TUNE/TRACK/CH dial counterclockwise
to decrease it.

Seek tuning (SEEK)

Scan tuning (SCAN)
If you press the SCAN
button, the radio will switch
to the scan mode.

tuning (only FM reception)
Press the PTY/CAT button to
change to the PTY selection mode.

If the PS (Program Service Name) and/or RT (Radio Text) are
available, pressing the
TEXT button changes the display among
PS, RT and frequency. The initial setting is PS.

Press and hold one of the preset
buttons (from 1 to 6) to store the
frequency.

Play a CD
Press the CD/AUX button to play a CD. Each brief
press of the CD/AUX button changes the modes
in the following sequence.

Scan
The scan mode lets you listen to the

Press the TEXT button during playback, the display shows
TIME, DISC TITLE, ARTIST NAME, etc.
Page scroll : If you press and hold the TEXT button again, the
title will be scrolled so you can see all of it.
