The power system is designed to manage loads up to 1800 W, and extended back-up power to loads
with total power consumption of 1440 W. To check the total power consumption of the products
plugged into the power system, press the select button and view the output power (W) on the screen.

To test the unit’s back-up power capabilities after installation, unplug the AC power cord to simulate a
power outage. Ensure the products connected to the continue operating. You can test the surge
capabilities of the Backup Power System by turning connected products on and off while the unit is
unplugged. If products fail to operate or the screen shows an error code, see Troubleshooting.

*Actual power consumption as measured on sample products

a.  Average power consumption as measured on loads tested under regular operating conditions.

Check your appliances/devices for actual manufacturer rating since it may vary from averages
shown here.

b.  Run time as measured on tested loads. Run times will vary depending on actual equipment

ratings.

c.  The wattage listed above in the chart is only for your reference and not exact. It is not start-up

wattage. The start-up wattage will be far higher so do not use the start-up power when the total
power exceeds the surge power of this unit (3000W).

Power Management Tips
