6.2.3 Tightening torques
Unless otherwise specified, the screws should be tightened according to the tightening torques provided in the
DIN.
Machine and adjacent construction fixing elements must be tightened according to the manufacturer's instruc-
tions.

6.2.4 Requirements for the connecting components
The GTES can only be fitted on machines that have a CE marking.
6.3 Assembly mechanics
Before assembly of the GTES, the machine must be suitably positioned so that the installation space is easily
accessible.
NOTE
When driving screws into the machine-side threads, the following can be obtained from the operating
instructions of the machine:
► Screw tightening torques,
► screw locking agent to be used, if necessary.
NOTE
The installation space must be and remain dust-free and dry.
6.3.1 Assembly of the housing (design without flange)
Mount the GTES
on the machine 1. Create a positive-locking connection between the
drive shaft (1) of the GTES and the machine.
