- Keep combustible material such as furniture, cushions, bedding, paper, clothes, curtains etc. At least 100
cm away from the fan heater.
- Do not hang anything on or in front of the fan heater.
- Always unplug the heater when not in use. Do not pull the cord to unplug the heater.
- Keep the air inlet and outlet free from objects at least 1 m in front and 50 cm behind the heater.
- Do not install the heater right below a socket.
- Do not let animals or children touch or play with the fan heater. Pay attention the air outlet gets hot during
operation (more than 80oC, or 175 F).
- Do not cover. If covered, there is the risk of overheating.
- Do not use this fan heater in the immediate surroundings of bath, a shower or a swimming pool.
- Do not use the fan heater in the rooms containing explosive gas inflammable solvents, varnish or glue.
- If the power cord is damaged do not plug the heater in. Consult your supplier or qualified electrician for
replacing the damaged mains lead.
- Keep the fan heater clean. Do not allow any objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may
cause electric shock, or fire or damage to the heater.
- If the heater has been dropped or damaged it should not be used until it has been Inspected by a qualified
service center.
- Close supervision is necessary when the fan heater is being used by or near children, persons suffering from
any physical impairment or pets.
INSTALLATION
The appliance requires no installation, it should be used solely as a portable appliance.
Mains operated portable appliances are not suitable for use in a bathroom.
OPERATION
- Turn the thermostat knob (right) in a clockwise direction until it reaches the maximum setting.
- Summer service (ventilation only): turn the knob to setting
- Heating at reduced power: turn the knob (right) to setting I (1000 W).
- Heating at full power: turn the (right) to setting II (2000 W).
- Switching off: turn the knob (left) to setting O.
REGULATING THE THERMOSTAT
When the room has reached, the required temperature turn the right thermostat knob (where included) in
an anti-clockwise direction up to the point where the appliance switches off and not beyond. The
temperature fixed in this way will be automatically regulated and kept at a constant level by the thermostat.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Before cleaning always remove the plug from the electrical socket.
Clean the air inlet / outlet grilles frequently.
Never use abrasive powders or solvents.
WARNINGS
- Do not use the appliance in the vicinity of showers, bath tubs, wash basins, swimming pools etc.
- Always use the heater in a flat position.
