OPERATION
HEAT CAPACITY SETTING MODES:
○
ventilator and heating off
"cold air", only the ventilator works
Ⅰ
"warm air", the ventilator is switched on and one heating element (1000 W)
Ⅱ
"hot air", the ventilator and both heating elements are switched on (2 000 W)
USAGE:
- Unpack the heater and make sure it is not damaged. Do not use a damaged heater and contact your dealer.
Keep packaging materials away from children.
- Only use the heater indoors and in a dry environment!
- Be aware that the heater may become hot during operation, so place it on a solid, horizontal non-
combustible surface (e.g. stone, marble, tiles) out of the reach of children and at a sufficient distance from
flammable materials (e.g. curtains), so that to ensure easy access to the plug and to easily unplug the power
cord at any time! Do not place it in the corner of the room and, keep a minimum distance. To avoid
overheating or possible fire, do not cover the device.
- Connect the heater to a power source.
- Set the heater to
○
mode.
- If you use the device in
mode, set the room thermostat control to the maximum value.
- You can use the room thermostat to set the desired room temperature.
- Heating in
Ⅰ
or
Ⅱ
mode is switched on as soon as the air temperature falls below the set temperature.
- When the set temperature is reached, the ventilator and the heating are switched off.
- To set a higher temperature, turn the room thermostat knob clockwise, to set a lower temperature, turn the
room thermostat knob counterclockwise.
- If the signal light is on, the heater is set to
Ⅰ
or
Ⅱ
mode.
- If the room thermostat switches off the heater, the signal light does not illuminate.
- When the signal light is on in
Ⅰ
or
Ⅱ
mode, the ventilator is running but the heater is not heating the air,
the overheat protection has been activated.
- Set the room thermostat to the maximum value, in case the heater does not start heating the air, the safety
mode is active.
- Set the heater to
○
mode.
- Unplug the device by pulling the plug out of the socket and letting it cool down for at least 30 minutes.
- Check the cold air inlet and the hot air outlet and clean if necessary.
- Connect the device to the power supply and switch it on again.
- If the device does not switch on or the thermal fuse switches off the appliance again, disconnect the device
from the power supply and contact an authorized service center.
- To switch off the heater in
mode set the room thermostat to the minimum value and switch the heater to
○
mode.
- Switch the heater in
Ⅰ
or
Ⅱ
mode to
mode
first. Set the room thermostat to the maximum value and
let the device cool down for 3 to 5 minutes. After the device has cooled down, you can switch it off by setting
the room thermostat to the minimum value and switching the heater to
○
mode.
