7. Larger sticks catch fire from the kindling underneath.
8. Burning the sticks at the tip will create much less smoke.
Push sticks into the stove as they burn up.
9. Close the bottom door half way for simmering when using
less fuel.
10. When moving stove wait until cool. Carry using both
handles.
Special tips for reducing fuel use while
cooking with wood:
Keep lid on pot at all times.
Keep pot skirt on pot.
Make sure pot skirt is touching top of stove.
When cooking at a simmering temperature:

When water comes to a boil, remove burning sticks.
The sticks make coals that can be used for further cooking.
B. Break off coals from ends of stick.
