Script Usage 

Instruction on how to use the script: 

NavpadDowngrade filename firmwareFile 

 

Where filename: This filename will be used to store all configuration data. The script will create following text 
(.txt) files. 

Filename_before_downgrade.txt 
Filename_after_downgrade.txt 
Filename_backup.txt 

Filename_before_upgrade.txt

 – This hold configuration data before upgrade. 

Filename_backup.txt

 – This is copy of above and it is used when the upgrade process fails, to recover the serial 

number and number of keys. 

Filename_after_upgrade.txt

 – This holds configuration data after upgrade. 

 

Where firmwareFile – This file is the firmware file that will be used to upgrade the NavPad. 

 

When the script is executed each step will be highlighted in Yellow e.g.
