2. Always test the spray pattern on a test surface first.
3. The speed control on the turbine lets you adjust the atomising air flow. The closer you set the control to maxi-
mum, the greater the volume of air is. Test the various settings until you achieve a clean and evenly atomised spray
pattern. The smaller the dots are atomised at the edge of the spray pattern, the finer the spray pattern is. The finer the
coating material is atomised, the greater the paint mist component is. This is is normal due to the smaller and lighter
paint droplets. If atomisation is not satisfactory, although the speed control is set to maximum, you can improve atomi-
sation by thinning the coating material (observe manufacturer's instructions), or by using a different nozzle (nozzle and
air cap).

Selecting a nozzle set
The nozzle set comprises a nozzle and an air cap. These parts form a matching set. The nozzle needle is the same for
all nozzle sets and stays in the gun when the nozzle is changed. The following nozzles and air caps are included in the
scope of supply:
1. nozzle 1.3 mm with red air cap
2. Nozzle 1.7 mm with red or blue air cap (depending on the coating material and spraying results)
3. Nozzle 2.5 mm with blue air cap
The larger the surface to be coated and the higher the viscosity of the coating material, the larger the nozzle has to be.
The 1.3 mm nozzle set supplied with the spray gun is suitable for most applications.
Changing the nozzle set
1. Release the air cap holder and remove along with the air cap.
2. Pull the spray gun trigger to avoid the needle touching the nozzle when you remove the nozzle. Unscrew the nozzle
with the nozzle spanner provided.
3. To replace, perform the disassembly steps in reverse order.
