Important Notice: Refrigerant Gas R-410A

This air conditioner uses the refrigerant R-410A in a closed cooling circuit. 

While this coolant has zero ozone depletion potential, it is a so-called 

greenhouse gas under the Kyoto Protocol and may thus contribute to 

global warming, if it is released into the atmosphere.

 Therefore only 

trained technicians with an appropriate refrigerant certificate may 

service the appliance for filling or emptying.

Unpacking

• Packaging materials: This product has been packaged to protect it 

against transportation damage. When unpacking the appliance, keep the 
original packaging carton and materials in a safe place. It will help prevent 
any damage if the product needs to be transported in the  future. In the 
event that the carton is to be disposed of, please recycle all packaging 
materials where possible. Plastic wrapping can be a suffocation hazard for 
babies and young children, so ensure all packaging materials are out of 
their reach and disposed of safely.

• Instruction manual: Make sure you read and understand all instructions in 

this manual before operating the air conditioner. Pay particular attention to 
the safety instructions on the previous pages.

Installation

WARNING!

•  This air conditioner must be correctly installed by an authorised, 

licensed installer in accordance with all applicable rules and regulations 

and all instructions in the separate INSTALLATION MANUAL. It is in your 

interest and that of your safety to ensure compliance.

•  Do not try to install the air conditioner yourself! 

Doing so will expose 

you to danger and void the warranty. Improper installation, adjustment, 

alteration or service can cause injury or damage. We decline any 

responsibility for injury or damage, to persons or property, as a result of 

improper use or installation.

After professional installation, and before first use, check and ensure that: 
•  Both indoor and outdoor units are correctly installed and the earth wire 

is connected safely.

•  The outdoor installation bracket is undamaged. 

•  The filter is clean and properly fixed in its place. 

•  Both air outlet and inlets are not blocked.
