Quick Start Guide
Read the supplied instruction manual before installing and using the chest freezer.
It contains comprehensive installation and usage instructions and important safety
advice. This Quick Start Guide only covers basic points.
Installation
• Place the freezer on a sturdy, level floor that is strong enough to support the unit
when it is fully loaded. Avoid locations that are close to direct sunlight, sources of
heat, extreme cold ambient temperatures and areas of high humidity. Make sure
the freezer is positioned level and there is a space of at least 10cm at the back and
5cm at the sides for air circulation, and 1m above so you can comfortably open
the lid and access the contents.
• Before plugging in the freezer, let it stand upright for at least 4 hours to allow the
refrigerant gases to settle. After plugging the appliance into a wall outlet, allow the
unit to cool down for 2 to 3 hours before placing food inside.
Operation
• Press the FRIDGE button to use the cabinet in
“Fridge” mode and adjust the temperature in the
storage cabinet between 2°C and 6°C.
• Press the FREEZER button to use the cabinet in
“Freezer” mode and adjust the temperature in the
storage cabinet between -14°C and -25°C.
• The system will be locked automatically 30 seconds
after the last button operation. Press and hold the
FRIDGE and FREEZER buttons for three seconds at
the same time to unlock the system.
• Press the SUPER button to use the cabinet
temporarily in “Super Freezing” mode, which is
recommended for fast freezing.
