WASHING INSTRUCTIONS, CLEANING AND CARE
Shades, colour differences and batik-like discolourations are not a manufacturing defect and
do not represent a quality deficiency. To ensure that the conductivity is maintained even after
several washing cycles, please always observe the following care instructions:

Before washing it is essential to close the Velcro fasteners on the arm and leg
electrodes.
Washing cycle at maximum temperature 30°C. Only useStimaWELL EMS or
Merusal detergent. StimaWELL EMS detergent can be purchased online at sti-
mawell-ems.com. Do not wash at higher temperatures.
With the use of a normal household washing machine at 30°C more than 100
washing cycles are possible without any meaningful loss of electrode conductivity.
4 caps of Merusal EMS detergent should be used for a full washing machine load
of 8 to 10 electrode suits with a pre-wash cycle at temperature 20° to 30°C. If
the washing machine provides a soaking function then soak in the StimaWELL
EMS or Merusal solution for 2 hours. If no soaking programm is available then
please use 8 caps of Merusal EMS detergent for a full machine load at a maximum
temperature of 30°C and wash for at least 2 hours. Please do not use any other
washing detergents, disinfection agents, chlorine based cleaning agents, softeners
or textile fresheners.

No bleach. All bleaching agents will cause damage to the product. In no circum-
stances should chlorine be used because this will damage the silver fabric cladding
and lead to a loss of function.

Do not iron.

Chemical cleaning is not allowed.

Dry after washing in the dryer with the program ‘cupboard dry’.
Disin-
fecton:
Do notuse additional disinfection!. All types of disinfection will cause damage to
the product – especially where chemical agents are involved. The silver fabric clad-
ding acts anti-bacterially and therefore does not require prior additional disinfec-
tion.
Please note that a hygiene detergent (StimaWELL or Merusal EMS detergent) is not the same
as a disinfectant detergent! Due to the unique surface properties we decline quality claims of
incorrectly washed electrodes.
