General
With a mulching kit, a conventional lawn
mower can be converted into a mulching
mower. For this purpose, the mowing
blade must be replaced with the mulching
blade and the grass catcher box must be
replaced with the mulch insert.
To enable the machine to be used again
as a grass collector, the mulching blade
must be replaced again with the mowing
blade.
0. 1 General
This instruction manual constitutes

Observe the instruction manual of the lawn
mower, particularly the "For your safety"
and "Maintenance" sections. The
instructions for blade maintenance must
always be observed.
Detach the spark plug socket before
performing any work on the lawn mower.
Additionally close the tank ventilation
screw before placing the machine in the
cleaning position.
Before each use, perform a visual check to
ensure that the mulch insert, mulching
blade and blade fastening are in good
condition.
Only use the mulch insert in conjunction
with the mulching blade.
3. 1 Removing the mowing blade
● Locate the handlebar in the
service position.
● Remove the mowing blade.
See the instruction manual for the lawn
mower for a description of how to do this.
3.2 Installing the mulching blade
● Clean the blade contact surface
and blade holder.
● Secure blade fastening screw (C) with
Loctite 243 .
● Fit mulching blade (B) on the blade
holder with the tabs (1) facing
outwards.
● Position spring washer (D) with the
convex facing outwards and tighten
with blade fastening screw (C) to
60 - 65 Nm.
