7. Safety

7.1

General safety instructions

We guarantee trouble-free function and operational reliability
only if the original accessories and spare parts intended for the
appliance are used.

Only qualified contractors should carry out installation, commis-
sioning, maintenance and repair.

7.2

Instructions, standards and regulations

Note

Observe all applicable national and regional regulations
and instructions.

7.3 Safety

instructions

WARNING Burns
A solar collector generates heat when exposed to sun-
light or other types of light. This leads to collector con-
nectors getting very hot, even when they are not filled.
Risk of burns. Cover the collectors with opaque material
until they are actually installed. Only remove the collec-
tor packaging immediately prior to installation.

Damage to the appliance and environment

A solar collector generates heat when exposed to sunlight
or other types of light. This leads to collectors getting very
hot, even when they are not filled. The collector could
be damaged. Cover the collectors with opaque material
until they are actually installed. Only remove the collector
packaging immediately prior to installation.

Damage to the appliance and environment

Be careful not to drop the collector. Be careful not to
drop any objects on the collector. Do not step onto the
collector.

Damage to the appliance and environment

Do not leave the collector unsecured. If the collector falls
over, the glass may shatter.

8. Appliance

description

This collector is specifically designed for on-end roof integration.
The laser-welded aluminium full area absorber has a highly selec-
tive vacuum coating (Miro-Therm). The hydraulic connection be-
tween collectors is made by means of a plug-in connector system.

A 3.2 mm thick safety glass cover (anti-reflex glass) protects the
absorber. The collector is insulated on the sides and back panel
with low outgassing mineral wool (black lined). The required ven-
tilation is carried out via two diagonal ventilation louvres in the
side profile of the collector. The collector casing is made from
saltwater-resistant aluminium. Operating the collectors with a
prepared water-glycol mixture (H-30 L) provides the essential frost
protection.
