Connection of an additional locking motor

1. Connection chain motor with locking motor

Remove end cap from locking motor. Connect power supply

cable

1

(power supply, 2-core) and connecting cable

of the EM/2 chain motor

(3-core) in accordance with the

circuit diagram (



= COM Locking motor) to the terminal

screw

of the locking motor.

Screw on top part of the end cap

(check that the cable sits

securely). Set end cap on housing again an fix securely.

2. Defect removal

1. Locking motor does not traverse, although the chain motor
have correctly switched off in the CLOSED direction.
2. Chain motor do not traverse, although voltage is present.



The DIP-Switch is incorrectly positioned or leads are

broken or not correctly connected.

Set DIP-Switch

to the ON position and DIP-Switch

to the OFF

position and connect the chain motor in accordance with chapter
"Electrical installation".

and DIP-Switch

to the ON position. Connect

the EM/2 chain drive in accordance with the “Electrical installation"
section and “Connection of an additional locking motor” section.

both chain motors and connect the chain motors in accordance

and slave chain motor the DIP-Switch

Connect the EM/2 Master and Slave chain drive in
accordance with the “Electrical installation" section and
“Connection of an additional locking motor” section.
