Backbox Arc Reactor Flasher Kit

1) Ensure your machine is turned off.
2) Remove the backglass.
3) Remove the display and lay it on the playfield
glass.
4) Locate the connector labeled
J6 Flash Lamps
and J7 Low Current Solenoid.
It will be in the middle bottom of the
power driver board.
Picture 1 & 2
shows these connectors.
5) Locate the
Orange Wire
on the
J6
connector.
* Note:
These connectors are labeled
with the lower numbers on the right of
the connector.
6) It may be necessary to undo factory
installed wire managment before you
proceed.
7) Take the
BLUE
splice from the kit.
8) Using your thumbs, push the wire into the
metal part of the splice as shown. It will
only just begin to seat, this is just to
keep the wire from moving.
This is shown in
Picture 3.
9) Close the splice around the wire.
Be sure that the wire is in the center of
the metal clip as shown in
Picture 4
to
the left.
* Note:
Failure to watch this step carefully can
cause you to CUT the wire you are splicing!
10) Once you are sure the wire is in the
correct locations in the crimp, grab it by
the thin end as shown in
Picture 4
11) Grab the closed end of the splice with the
pliers on it's fat end as shown in
Picture 5 on Page 4.
Check one more time! Is the wire in the
right location in the splice? If so, squeeze the
pliers until you hear a click.
