Miscellaneous (Misc.) Menu
Function
Description
Scaling
Select the aspect ratio for the image. (Select from: Full Screen, Aspect Ratio,
Native).
H. Overscan
Horizontal Overscan - Adjust the image size left and right. The screen may have
black bars at the left and right (pillarboxed).
V. Overscan
Vertical Overscan - Adjust the image size up and down. The screen may have
black bars at the top and bottom (letterboxed)
PIP Mode
Opens a Picture-In-Picture window displaying the image from an additional input
source. (Select from: OFF, PIP, PAP). See below for an explanation of PIP and
PAP functions.
PIP Position
This field is only available when the PIP field is set to PIP. This setting sets the
position of the Picture-In-Picture window. See below for selections.
PIP H. Overscan
PIP Horizontal Overscan - This field is only available when the PIP field is set to
PIP or PAP. This adjustment applies to the secondary source window. It adjusts
the image size left and right. The secondary source window may have black bars
left and right (pillarboxed).
PIP V. Overscan
PIP Horizontal Overscan - This field is only available when the PIP field is set to
PIP or PAP. This adjustment applies to the secondary source window. It adjusts
the image size top and bottom. The secondary source window may have black
bars top and bottom (letterboxed).

Using Picture In Picture (PIP) and Picture And Picture (PAP) Modes
Selecting PIP and PAP modes
1. To display two signals in PIP (Picture In Picture) mode, press the
PIP
button on the remote control, then
select
Source
, or use the Misc. Menu PIP Mode setting.
The
Swap
button on the remote control swaps the PIP image source with the main image sources.
