4.1.1 Field Installation
Instructions (Figure 4-2)
Tools needed: regular screwdriver, 5/32" Allen wrench, 7/16" socket wrench.
Step 1: Remove the 4 screws used to mount the A.P.C. Push Bar.
Step 2: Mount Item 1 (C.P.R. Leg Assembly) to the A.P.C. on the left and the
right side of the chair, on the inside of the Push Bar Ears as shown, using
Item 2 (.250-20 x .750 Hex Head Cap Screw). Before installing, apply
2 or 3 drops of #262 Loctite

to the threads.
Step 3: Peel backing off of Item 3 (Velcro 2 Hook) and Item 4 (Velcro Pile) and
place adhesive sides together.
Step 4: Remove the #6 x .250 sheet metal screw, as shown.
Step 5: With pile side up on Velcro, place over hole on the tube, push the screw
through the Velcro and screw into the tube.
