4. INSTRUCTIONS
Battery placement
1. Locate the battery cover on the back side of the multimeter.
2. Use a screwdriver to remove the screw and lift the cover.
3. Insert a 9 V battery. Verify the polarity.
4. Replace the cover and screw it back on.
When the battery icon appears on the screen, you must replace
it.
Measurement retention mode
Press the Hold button once. The letter H will appear on the
screen. If you press the Hold button again, the multimeter will
return to normal mode.
Voltage detection by inductance
1. Turn the multimeter on.
2. Turn the knob to select the desired scale.
3. Move the upper sensor to the cable you need to test.
4. The LED will light up if voltage is detected.
In this mode, you detect voltage, but you do not obtain the
measurement.
