To access confi gurations (Conf.) make sure that you are not currently recording video or
playing back video and press MENU twice, from any mode.
Use DOWN and UP to navigate through the options and press
to select and confi rm
adjustments.
• Format: formats the installed memory card. Simply select with the Eject option. Once
fi nalized, the menu will appear again.
When a memory card is formatted, all images and data on the card will be deleted. Even
protected images will be deleted.
• Bip:
enables or disables the button tone.
• Language: select the display language.
• Auto off: to save battery power, the camera will automatically shut off after remaining idle
for the selected period of time. You can adjust this time to 1, 3, or 5 minutes, or deactivated.
• Sys. Reset:
resets all settings to factory condition. Date and time setting will not change.
• Light Freq.: in America and Asia the standard frequency is 60 Hz, while in England, Japan,
and Europe it is normally 50 Hz.
• TV Output: this setting controls the number of images per second in video recording. By
default the camera is set to NTSC (for North America).
• Date Input: adjusts date and time on the camera.
It is recommended to adjust date and time to the correct values in case any crucial video
you take needs to be used as evidence. It will give veracity to the video captured by your
CCTV-957.
• USB: be sure to select the option Disk Drive to be able to transfer photos and videos to a
computer.
• Screen Set: sets the time when the screen turns off.
