Before installing and operating this product, the user and/or installer must read, understand and follow these instructions and keep them handy for future reference.
If these instructions are not followed, the warranty will be considered null and void and the manufacturer deems no further responsibility for this product.
IMPORTANT: This product must be installed and connected by a certified electrician, according to electrical and building codes effective in your region.
Switch off the power at the circuit breaker/fuse before installing, repairing and cleaning the unit.
Make sure the unit is appropriate for the intended use (if needed, refer to the product catalog or a representative).

IMPORTANT POINTS FOR INSTALLATION AND USE
1. Always install the relay with the arrow pointing up for optimal perfomance and safe operation. If a
derogation is needed, please contact our customer service.
2.
The relay must be firmly secured in the heater junction box. Never use in an external electrical junction
box, these relays are internal components.
3. Always install this relay in the designated location and approved position (contact our customer
service for more information).
4. Connect the relay in accordance with the electrical diagram provided with the relay.
5. Use the voltage separator to isolate the control wires from the power wires.

It is important to respect the relay specifications (voltage and current):
RE153 : voltage 120 VAC to 347 VAC; current 15 amps maximum
RE153T* : voltage 208 VAC to 347 VAC; current 15 amps maximum
RE156 : voltage 120 VAC to 600 VAC; current
6 amps maximum
7. Never replace the unit’s relay with a non-certified
relay.
