OPTIONAL
FINDERS
Since this telescope offers a wide field of view, many
users find they do not need a finderscope. They merely
use a wide field 2” eyepiece. But the majority of users
prefer either a reflex finder (which operates at 1X and
displays a red dot where the telescope is pointed) or an
optical finderscope that operates from 9X - 13X and has
a crosshair reticle. The simplest to use if the Stellarvue
Red Dot Finder #F1001 shown to the right.
We also offer a more advanced reflex finder featuring
multiple reticle patterns. A switch permits the user to
switch from a projected red dot (two sizes), a circle or a
crosshair pattern.

OPTICAL FINDERSCOPES
Now available in 50mm, 60mm and 80
mm clear aperture, these finderscopes
have many unique and desirable features
the others lack. We designed them with a
90 degree fully multicoated correct image
erecting prism with 1.25” helical focuser
so other 1.25” eyepieces could be used.
The performance of this finderscope is stunning when used with Televue
Naglers. A complete selection of Stellarvue dovetail mounting ring systems are
available separately for various types of telescopes.
ULTIMATE FINDER/GUIDER
The Stellarvue SV70ED makes an out-
standing finder/guidescope that can be
used visually or with autoguiders. Use
our 2” erecting prism and our 2” 26mm
illuminated reticle eyepiece for stunning
4.2 degree porthole views. This is our
sharpest guidescope ever.
The TP5 rail is our
“Vixen” sized rail. This
rail is used on Stellarvue
mounts that use the TD2
shoe (M2 & MG2), the
Celestron CG5, Vixen
GP, and many more
The TP6 rail is our
“Losmandy” sized rail. This
rail is used on the
Celestron CGEM and CGE
Pro, Losmandy mounts,
Stellarvue mounts that
have the large TD7 dove-
tail shoe and many more.
