Cutout Hole Dimensions
Be sure there is ample clearance behind the ceiling to allow for the backbox to be properly
installed.
With all backboxes you will find the relevant cut-out template.
The backbox is expandable!
/ It must be pushed in to
the minimum size for installation in a standard 2x4” stud wall but extended
for in-ceiling installations.
The maximum dimensions of the backboxes are:

The cutout hole dimensions must be with a maximum deviation of +/- 2 mm equivalent to +/- 0.08 in
The wall/ceiling must be fitted with studs and braces to secure the backbox in position.
