STEAMAX S-PRIV – COMMISSIONING OF THE DEVICE

Charging and Updating the device

Power On | Locking and Unlocking the Device (LOCK / UNLOCK)

Press the fire button 5 times in quick succession (within 2 seconds) when the unit it switched off to turn

on the unit. Locking (LOCK) and unlocking (UNLOCK) of all buttons works the same way with the device

switched on by pressing the fire button 5 times in quick succession. Hold down the space bar for 7 seconds

while the device is locked to completely shut down the system. We recommend that you turn your

e-cigarette off during transport and when the device is not being used for longer periods of time.

Please note that you are using high-current 18650 cells with a constant discharge current ≥ 25 A. Please

use two identical batteries. The Micro USB port is located below the two adjustment buttons. Using a micro

USB charging cable, you can connect the device in order to charge it or to connect it to a PC in order to

download a software update. We recommend that you charge the 18650 batteries with an external charger

because the charging process is optimized and much faster by doing so.
