1. Windows will launch the
Add New Hardware Wizard
. Press
Next
to begin the
software installation process.
2. When the
Add New Hardware Wizard
appears, click
Next
:
3. Windows will inform you that it is ready to
install the driver for the device
Generic
USB Hub on USB 2.0 Bus
. Click
Next
:
4. Follow any remaining prompts. When Windows informs you it has finished installing
the drivers. Click
Finish
.
5. To verify that the drivers have successfully been
installed, right-click on
My Computer
and select
Manage
. Select
Device Manager
, and click on
the [
+
] symbol located next to
Universal Serial
Bus Controllers. Here, you should notice a listing
for
Generic USB Hub on USB 2.0 Bus:
6. You can now attach USB devices to the hub.
To begin the installation process, connect the USB 2.0 Hub to an available USB 2.0 port.
