If the Battery is above the normal temperature range, the RED LED will be
illuminated and the GREEN LED will be off. When the Battery to cool to about
55
o
C (131°F), the Charger automatically will begin charge.
If the Battery is below the normal temperature range, the RED LED will be
illuminated and the GREEN LED will be off. When the battery to cool to about
5
o
C (41°F), the Charger automatically will begin charge.
If the charger detects a problem, the RED LED will begin fl ashing and the
GREEN LED will be off.
1. If indicating as defective, REMOVE and REINSERT the Battery in the
Charger. If the LED status indicates “defective” a second time, try to charge
a different Battery;
2. If a different Battery charges normally, DISCARD the fi rst Battery as
defective (see Maintenance Section);
3. If the second Battery also indicates “defective,” the Charger may be
defective. CHECK with Technical Assistance this occurence.
